About me:

I was born in Staten Island New York, my parents and I moved to central NJ in 1978, and I purchased a house in Bristol Twp. PA in 2004. Always the nature lover, this was the 3rd house I saw on the first day of looking when my wife and I made an offer. There were enough things about the house that needed to be changed or fixed but the fact that it was surrounded by state park on 2 sides was enough to give it value. It turns out we have an endangered species tree frog in our wetland forest that will prevent any future expansion of our block and we are the last house on the street.

Needless to say my abilities to repair and create thrive as I turn this 50+ year old house into a dream home. The foundation is in good shape as it is not too old, the basic structure is decent as the building code then was closer to modern times than many historic houses you see on television. the rest I change as I go. Constantly researching codes to build it right while meeting regulation. I have started to replace all exterior sheeting with 1/2" OSB and vinyl siding. (In contrast to homosote board and cement asbestos.) The plumbing is being converted from copper to PEX Tubing, And every room is getting new Sheetrock and wiring. I am currently about 90% completed on my living room and kitchen remodeling, Including a 110 gallon built-in fish tank wall, Indirect lighting open soffet, and many more features all hand made from scratch by yours truly.

Never before have I had so many tools of my own! All the tools I Learned to use in school I have slowly added to my collection. From multiple Routers to the Band Saw, Table Saw, Acetylene torch, Compound Miter Saw, Tile Saw, with many many more. And of course, the all mighty Dremmel with ALL attachments. I have finally been able to create many of the things that I have dreamt up in my head. And this does not even include my electronics and computer abilities.

My main career focus has been using my natural ability to understand computers. From my first computer, (the Atari 800 XL) people have been supervised how easily I interact with the computers basic logical operation. I jump into new programs and figure out the majority of its capabilities in 1 to 2 hours. So far I have become pretty functional at all of Microsoft Office, Macromedia, Adobe, Punch home designer, and I have just barley started looking into AutoCAD 2008. All are GUI's as I am not interested in learning Programming, at least not yet, Mainly I have been focused on the hardware side of things with-in the interface's capabilities.

Computer Hardware and electronics have been of great interest to me over the past 15 years. in 1993 I build my fist computer from scratch. This after the cascade failure of my Amiga 1000 in 1988. many years I waited and plotted to start buying parts. With each part I researched (with books and people, no goggle or internet then) with the new Intel processors that replaced the old 40486 dinosaurs, it was an exciting time in computers. The speed race was barley on its start and I was right along for the ride with it. I have become sort-of a mad genius for high-end gaming and power User computer enthusiasts. I started the web site www.monstercomputercases.com with aspirations of a possible business venture. but with the small client base find it more lucrative and less time consuming to work for my audiovisual and broadcasting clients.

In 2001, after being an Audiovisual and Broadcast Technician for several years, I started with United Audiovisual Inc. moving relatively quickly up to the status of Director of Operations. Many clients trusted me to use their computers and equipment to do what they could not figure out. Meanwhile I would also be juggling the audio controls and queuing videos ect... In 2007 I received the offer to work freelance at NBC Universal. I jumped at the opportunity and honed my understanding of equipment that was out of the scope and budget of many companies. As I go into 2008 I am unsure how long i will continue to be at NBC as it is not a permanent position. But I am sure my trade abilities with my electronic knowledge will secure my future to come.
